For this important company that produces, preserves and processes green, yellow and red kiwifruit and plums, an expansion was realised with the construction of new cold rooms for the storage of kiwifruits and plums.

For this project, we supplied freon R448A evaporators, flat oil coolers with a single row of fans and flat condensers with a double row of fans, installed on a special metal structure.

Kiwifruit is a product that must be stored in a controlled atmosphere at temperature close to 0°C. It was therefore planned to use hot glycol defrosting for the evaporators. This system achieves high efficiency with extremely low consumption since part of the heat from condensation is used to heat the glycol for the defrosting circuit.
